The man's a craftsman and if you really dig into his catalogue there is trully magnificent stuff there. Yeah, he's silly and trite, but there is really is some substance to it all. Verena Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 I never enjoyied Avantasia before I saw their concert. I don't like their older stuff though. But the last album, The Scarecrow is pretty great to listen! I didn't know any of their songs before the concert start and I was amazed since the first songs they playied. From the opening of the first track (Even Less) our jaws were on the floor. Although I love everything they've done since then (and a lot of what came before) it's still my favorite PT album.
