I would have to go with Blazing Saddles. HOTWp1 in a close second. Then RH:MET in third.

I love Mel Brooks' films. I wish he would return to writing and directing which he hasen't done since D:DALI in 1995.

"That's Fronkensteen!"

"Igor?"

"No it's Eye-gor."

"But they said your name was Igor."

"Well they were wrong then, weren't they?"

"Igor, get the bags."

"Coitainly. You take the blonde and I'll take the one in the toiban."

I know this has nothing to do with his movies, but have you folks heard Brooks' classic
skit with Carl Reiner? Hit the link to check it out, it's hilarious!

Blazing Saddles is my favorite comedy ever. Young Frankenstein would be second Mel pick.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It is pretty bad, but I swear that's the best title ever. laugh.gif

Agreed. Great title, rotten movie.

Blazing Saddles is probably the finest comedy ever made. There, I've said it. I feel better now.

Little bastard shot me in the ass! rofl3.gif

Men In Tights is a riot too.

Sheriff of Rottingham:"Don Giovanni, if I may say so, your lizard looks limp".

Don Giovanni: "Yeah well, when you get to be my age.....Oh! My lizard!! Oh yeah!

Robin: Blinkin, listen to me, they've taken the castle!

Blinkin: I thought it felt a bit drafty.

Legend. Happy Birthday!

"Blazing Saddles" is going to win this in a cakewalk. I voted for it too, but I also loved "High Anxiety."

Some of his others do nothing for me. I hated "Spaceballs" and didn't see the thrill over "History of the World."
