Jack Aubrey
QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Jul 25 2008, 09:31 AM) Planet Of The Apes I've said this before, but I think it bears repeating. 'Apes' has the best twist ending in the history of Hollywood.

'Apes' has the best twist ending in the history of Hollywood. Haven't watched it yet, but I look forward to it. It's from 1968, which is the version you were referring to in your list, I guess? So, 2 down from it, making a good dent

When I make myself forget the original Planet of the Apes I enjoy Tim Burton's "re-imagining", but if I had to choose it's nowhere near as good, at all. Jack Aubrey
http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/27920000/27924161.jpg I've been waiting for this one for a looooooooooong time! The film transfer is flawless! Crystal clear and razor sharp. The sound is also terrific Unfortunately, there's only three extras-a commentary by Paul Newman's biographer, a really good doco and the original trailer, but they're worthwhile. This one belongs in your collection, so go get it!
