Great band. Saw them live earlier in the year and got the urge to get Argus on earlier today and while I was I was thinking I can't be the only Rush fan who thinks W.A. kick arse! So am I?

If you don't know them I seriously recommend you pick up the album Argus or the double live album Timeline. Incredibly talented band.

Heard 'Phoenix' on the Deep Tracks station on Sirius tonight.

I was blown away. Never heard it before or any Wishbone Ash that I was aware of (obviously never made it on regular radio due to length). Promptly bought their debut album from amazon when I got home.

The version on Live Dates is amazing. 17 minutes. cool10.gif

Argus is a perfect album all the way through. Wishbone Ash (the album) and Pilgrimage are also great.

There are actually two separate line-ups of Wishbone Ash that are still out there playing. The main one, lead by guitarist Andy Powell, and then there's Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash, with the original singer/bassist.

I saw Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash live last year, and they put on a great show.
