In a medley, maybe.

On its own? Doubt it.

Although I'd love to hear the full thing live...

mmmmm, what's the deal with that exploding photo?

I find it attractive.

But seriously, >_> I just like the movie Scanners and I think it's an interesting avatar.

I like the animation in my signature more, though.

Medley no. Full song yes.

I wish they would, But i think we have 0% chance sad.gif

I would love it if they played Necromancer. If they put it in a medley it would piss me off. I just don't seem to care for the medly of anything. Why do bands do medlys? unsure.gif

I've never understood the concept behind them when ANY band has done them. angry.gif

I think they ( 2.gif ) do it to squeeze more songs into a show

exactly.

The only way would would get a taste of Caress of steel would be in a medley. Maybe in the Grand finale they can squeeze it in, and than close it out with " in the end".

Personally, I don't want any instrumental "medleys" of songs that were not originally "instrumental"

also, if they add a past gem, hopefully they play it in the original key, and not "drop" the tuning... I am a stickler on this.

I am looking forward to hearing songs that I have never heard live in the past 20 years of seeing them in concert... hopefully I will be suprised...

I thought this thread was about our very own NECRO! LOL!

Anything off of "Caress Of Steel" would be fine with me.

Sincerely,

"Lakeside Park"

Yeah... so did I. laugh.gif

But then again... i've been told countless times that i ALWAYS think it's "all about me". tongue.gif

Fountain of Lamneth.  The whole thing.

I don't need twenty minutes to take a piss.

Fountain & Necromancer are the only 2 "epic" Rush songs I just don't care for very much. A little too meandering, pointless, and pretentious... kind of like Yes' "Tales from Topographic Oceans". There's a lot of good music in there, but it mostly just kind of meanders along and at the end you say, "So that's it?".

Fortunately, they (Rush) got it right on the next album!

1022.gif INDEED! But, no MEDLEYS, please. Don't waste the time on filler when we can hear a whole 2.gif song! I just got back from seeing TOOL at FCC, and was disappointed by the amount of COOL? intro/pre-lude crap they forced into their show before some songs. Yeah, the crap sounds cool & the lighting effects etc. are great. But, that's not what I paid to see, nor what got you hear, GUYS... - (disappointing note to TOOL and other bands that try that crap..)

Just my opinion....

old.gif OUT.......

What?..........Did you actually diss "Tales..."....Actually about TFTO, I agree mostly about the pretentiousness...except that to note....The Revealing Science of God is one of my favorite YES jams!!!! can't really explain it..

BUT, to say Necromancer is pretentious.... bd.gif ...SHAME on you!

I actually see how you might say that, but, respectfully MUST DISAGREE!

Call me the old.gif I guess..
