He was starved and eaten up with fleas. We visited my Father-in-law this weekend and he said we could take Sam home with us because we absolutely love him and my Father-in-law already has two dogs, one of which does not like Sam at all. He's a lot bigger than Sam, so my Father-in-law had to keep them separated, which was a pain in the butt for him. We took Sam to SuperPets yesterday to buy stuff for him and sign him up for obedience training. We had been assuming that Sam was a Jack Russel mix, but the lady in the store said she thought he was a full-blooded Jack Russel. Sam's 1st vet appointment is next week, so we'll get the definite word then. We estimate his age at around six months. We are also fortunate in that most Jack Russels are hyper little things, but Sam is really mellow and easygoing.
