He also has the COOLEST sense of humor about himself and his music. Not bad for a guy who's been a 'thuper thexy rock thtar' since the dawn of time. OK, so he has to "modify" some of those world famous high notes now. Such a minor concession only adds to his distinguished charm. "#@%#@ smartass whippersnapper!" Geddy curses.

Goddess' Pet Peeves 1. Alleged "adults" who have illegible handwriting worse than a grade schooler just learning to write. 2. Florida drivers, old or young. I must interface with them on a daily basis, and sadly, Neil's assessments are 100% correct. 3. LOCAL COMMERCIALS WHERE THE ACTOR FEELS THE NEED TO SHOUT AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS WHILE PROMOTING THEIR PRODUCT!! I hit the mute button immediately. (use of all caps intentional, BTW) 4. People invading my personal space in public. 5. Clueless people who don't understand they are behaving obnoxiously. If you confront them, they will only be more confused than ever, and they still won't correct themselves.

THE WRITER: Welcome to The Rush Forum. This is a really good group to hang out with, very creative, confident, and opinionated. I know you'll have fun here. I too am a born-again "Rushmantic". My rebirth happened in October 2005, and the last year and a half has been AWESOME: discovering lots of "new" music for the first time (old stuff by the calendar year it was released but new for me in that I'm hearing it for the first time)...learning about the band members as individuals, particularly by reading Neil's books....getting involved with internet stuff, and hanging out with other fans....creating my own Rush website...and cheering the band into the future with Snakes & Arrows. I often channel back in time to that young teenage Rush geek I used to be and I think, "That kid was on to something!" (I just turned 39 in March).

Finding My Way. How in the name of God did he ever sing like that and not injure himself?
