I love both, but the Godfather is streets ahead of Scarface, as is Godfather 2. (Which is on TV tonight, in Ireland) Sofia Coppola aside, Godfather 3 is better also.

Godfather 3 gets a raw deal IMHO.

Godfather. And by a ton. Scarface could be the most overrated film I've ever seen, and I'm not saying that because other people like it. I know "overrated" gets said a lot because other people like it and you want to be the individual. But I seriously think there are only a few good parts of Scarface, but not much substance behind it.

Personally, I enjoy Scarface more, but The Godfather is more critically acclaimed. Scarface vs. Carlito's Way would've been a better poll, since it's basically the same character... then Scarface would have a chance.

I adore all three Godfather movies. The last one and very first one being my favorites. Al Pacino is pretty damn near like a God... His performance in the end of #3, where his daughter dies, gets me to tears every time.

I would like to see a movie with Al Pacino, and Nick Cage together... They are both pretty unpredictable. I like that.
