Del_Duio
Here's a new one about my old crappy Jeep about 10 years ago: Del Duio sings- "Four Banger" It's not as complicated as the other ones but I like the lyrics. All of that stuff except for 2 lines really happened. I guess you'll have to decide for yourself which is which. invisibleairwaves
Just did this piece for a school project, it's on my Myspace page as Convolution. Kind of a crappy mix, but I was a little rushed.

Probably should've thrown in a couple of fills here and there though.

That heavy part sounds very weird, but of course I mean that as a high compliment -- weird in a most excellent badass way! Your stuff is so good it's not even funny. I imagine it as a scene as a meeting that goes wrong. Guys pull up to meet other guys. They are wearing suits and sunglasses and all hell breaks loose. A shootout that ends with a James Bond guy driving off with ease. lol

Agreed. This song has such a cool vibe going on. Love how all the chords fade in during the verses, and the chord progressions are really interesting. The singer has a nice voice, too. Real unique stuff going on here. And I'd be remiss if I didn't point out the "Animate"-like vibe in the drum part.

1-0-0-1-0-0-1
QUOTE (oldphilly @ Nov 24 2010, 11:22 PM) Here's another one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOLl9tgfpks Yep, another winner. I love it when a chord change perks my ears up and I go and rewind it to hear it again, and that happened a few times in this song. Your drum pattern during the verses is really cool. Another thing that perked up my ears. The singer has a unique voice in that it sounds like she's barely pushing the words out, but it fits the music perfectly. In fact, all of you show a nice level of restraint in your playing. And...When Marsupials Joust is a cool name for a band.

the masked drummer
Here's an instrumental my band just did live a few weeks ago. I had to slow the framerate down and go B/W on this one, but the sound guy has an overhead "drum cam" now, kinda the same angle as N. Peart has on him so you can see what he's playing from his perspective. Anyway, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cesYTFWESDg Edited September 22, 2011 by the masked drummer
