  1. 1. Does Rush make your favorite clothing merch?

    • Number 1, undisputed - Rush clothing is simply the best there is
      0
    • Number 1, but a close call - other bands have great gear, but Rush wins by a thread
      1
    • In my top 5 - there are a few groups with superior swag, but Rush gear is still great
      3
    • Maybe in my top 10 - Rush clothes unravel and fade away against the competition
      4
    • Not even in my top 15, or worse - Id rather paint *Rush* on some trash bags and wear that

The clothes make the man, but does Rush clothing make the top of YOUR list??

Tour shirts, long sleeved, sweaters, socks, undies or anything else that covers your bodacious bod.

How does Rush compare to the other bands when it comes to clothing style merchandise?

Does Rush clothing belong in The Camera Eye  :7up:, or do you just wanna Leave That Thing Alone??  :sarcasm:

Post pics of YOUR favorites in the thread.

Any clothing items you WISH could be Rush-ified??

Maybe in the top 10.  For me, it's T-shirts, and the quality of the shirt is paramount. I don't save my shirts, they get worn a lot here in SoFla, so it better last. I've had shirts last for ages (e.g. MFH, purchased from the Rush website), but I've also had get washed once and shrunk to nothing (the bonus shirt with the Best Buy sold BTLS  DVD's ) or come apart at seams (concert bought CA North American tour red shirt, which I'm wearing in my current avatar).

Most of the band shirts I own are better designed. The latest stuff Rush has been pushing on their site is really lazy and uninspired.

My key to t-shirt longevity is to not put them in the dryer. Hang dried.

There are still some shirts that might start to develop holes after 10-15 years.... but for the most part they last.

Case in point I've got a couple of Y2K shirts (yeah really) that look almost as good as they did when they first came in from geekstuff.com.  Same for the Firefox 1.0 release shirt.  :)

If I'm buying it, I want it to last. I work damned hard for my money and nobody's giving it away....

I love my Rush t shirt. I also have a Rush (roll the bones cover) pillow that my mom made for me from an old t shirt. So that's two separate shirts by them but one was converted to a pillow. Lol.

The Rush blanket I ordered from the official store a few years ago is great and of good quality. The durability of the three Rush t-shirts I bought there as well is good but the designs are boring. I'd rather buy those Danforth and Pape used to sell (I don't know if they're still in business).

In general, I'm not a big fan of merchandise nowadays. If I'm to wear a regular t-shirt with a pair of jeans I may sometimes choose to wear one of my Rush t-shirts or the Brad Paisley or Atalanta one, but if I wish to look any smarter I'm gonna wear a t-shirt with a better cut, material and design. I don't need fancy brand clothes, I need something that looks fresh.
