I heard this news this evening.

I've always liked Magnum and have been fortunate enough to see them several times over the years.

When they announced recently that they had cancelled the upcoming UK tour due to an illness Tony had,  I hadn't realised just how bad it was.

Regarding the discussions above re the possibility of Magnum continuing, I would say no chance whatsoever.

But at least we will have a brand new album to listen to and for me personally, many years of great memories, from a great band.

RIP Tony.

Very sad news ideed ! 😕

I saw Magnum twice live in ‘85 & ‘88

and they were excellent both times

Tony was underated as both a 🎸player & a song writer

Sad news. RIP Tony 😞

In the mid 80s Magnum were quite a big deal in the UK. Never saw them live but friends used to rave about them.
