I do actually. They’re more nuanced than they were on Future Nostalgia.

FN had better songs. This entire album is mid.

Hard disagree. FN had better singles, but RO is more consistent.

The album has nothing interesting to say lyrically, thematically it's dull, musically it's ordinary, but the production is fab.

That's all it is.

i see your hard Disagree and agree with your hard disagree., LOL

FN is fun but that's it.  i rarely re-visit it. if at all at this point.  there is something about RO that has gotten deeper into me.  i just love how each track is anchored by a steady beat yet has it's own.  Flavor.

RO continues to reward me......that's all, i care about.

Nothing interesting to you perhaps. I find the lyrics very strong. And the theme very healing. And it’s not like FN didn’t have some lyrical lows.

Ditto! There’s a really well imagined sonic world to RO, which feels very much like the cover art too.

i'm glad she didn't go for FN part 2.  it would have been an easy thing to toss off.

this showed me she was willing to go different places and it keeps me looking foward to more.

And an easy thing to fail at. Disco lives and dies by the strength of the groove. FN had a ton of strong grooves, but keep drawing from that same well and the great grooves are gonna dry up eventually. Switching it up was smart, especially after FN got so big.

this is a weird as comparison that might not totally apply but here it is.  this sort of gave me vibes of Fleetwood Mac going from Rumours....a TOTALLY commercial affair to tusk which was more challenging.

i get it.......two Totally different artists and styles but.....both took sharp turns after a pop smash.

Same concept except Tusk feels way messier to me than RO. Probably because of the double album thing.

I adore Willow. Have low-key been nagging Mick for years to pay attention.

It's so hard to recommend her to people...as soon as they hear her name it's like NEXT.

Willow and Camila Cabello are my two faves atm.

I have my pop eye on Madison Beer though. Make You Mine is my pop song of the year so far.

See to me this album feels more like going from Rumours to Behind The Mask. Tusk is a dense and fascinating album, Radical Optimism is just...not brilliant.

I'm not saying it's bad, but I don't think it's anything special.

now your seeing me and Midnights, lol

to be fair to you it is a very divisive album.  i'm seeing about 50/50.

I'm on the love side.
