Boygenius - The Record

I don’t think I’ve spun this in about a year. It hits different now.

Dan Fogelberg Windows and Walls (10/10)

i love all of Fogelberg but i find i like his more polished era best.  Phoenix to Exiles is my sweat spot.  didn't used to be but my Sweet spot for him. has changed.

My sweet spot is Home Free right up through WaW. Will continue to return to the later stuff though, if it pays off for you I reckon it will me too.

Fleetwood Mac- tusk(10/10)

Yes you could say lindsey's too off the wall here.  but IMO he makes Tusk Tusk.  without these weird songs you just have rumours 2.

Also i prefer his stuff on Tusk over whatever drunk ass 50's bender he went on during Mirage.

Everybody else brings their A game as well.

Sleater-Kinney - The Woods

I was just talking to my wife about them.  Back in HS we used to hang out in Olympia, WA, which oddly had a pretty cool underground punk scene.

Sleater-Kinney is the road that connects The highway to Capitol Mall.

Imagine Dragons - Loom

Honestly anymore they just fascinate me. It doesn’t seem like they’ll ever recapture the moment that made them stars in the first place, nor the less beloved one that made them ubiquitous and hated a few years later, but it’s like they keep trying to do both at the same time, finding an ever more perfect balance between who they were and what they became, while watching their chances at anything new they do coming close to the relevance they once had just silently fade away. And all the while, I just don’t hate what they’re doing! Lol. It’s not their best, it’s not their worst, it’s just intriguing to me. I hope they have a long and happy career left, but my guess is the moment has truly passed, and they’re finally becoming aware of it.

i've been trying them on ands off for years and too be honest i don't know why they have any fans.  i know that sounds like one of my insults but i don't get it genuinly.  Like they're stuff is sooooo......cookie cutter pop that it boggles my mind.

No I get it. I honestly think this is one of those rare cases where you really did kinda have to be there when they blew up, and be the right age for it to hit right.  They came out of nowhere seemingly right when I started high school to kinda usurp Coldplay and The Killers for a new generation. Not that they actually achieved that, but for a minute it felt like they would.
