now your seeing me and Midnights, lol

to be fair to you it is a very divisive album.  i'm seeing about 50/50.

I'm on the love side.

Mick

I'm on the "I really like it" side, and feel she has yet to peak. Good sign if you ask me!

Camila is one I haven’t checked out. What do you recommend?

and I don’t think I’ve heard of Madison Beer?

I recommend her debut Camila and Romance. Then go forwards if you want.

Madison Beer has had okay singles, but her music video for the excellent pop single Make You Mine is suggesting exciting things for her. She's also stunning.

Bruce Springsteen- Human Touch (7/10)

This period singled a bit of a downturn in the US for him After the massive run in the 80's.  Actually you can pinpoint Tunnel of Love as the start of it as the tour did well but the album was recieve less than warmly.  but With Human Touch I see it.  this is a mixed bag totally.

ai like Lucky town way More.

Alice In Chains - Jar Of Flies

Cautiously approaching bands like AiC again who often depress me.

Iron Maiden- Powerslave

I don't hear the filler people claim this has. In the running for their absolute best album.

Dan FogelBerg

High Country Snows (6/10)

Exiles (9/10)

I never play HCS.  It's his bluegrass album and honestly the bluegrass is thw worst aspect of it......i HATE it, lol.  the Plus side of it is the ballads.  HCS actually just might have his best ballads i love all 3......i think there's 3, lol.

and Exiles is his out and out pop album and i ADORE it.  it really grew on me.  Lonely in love would kind of be like if Springsteen went all the way and did a schmaltzy AOR ballad .....which he never REALLY did.

Got to work from home for part of the day yesterday so that gave me a chance to open up the moving box's again.  First vinyl out:

Uriah Heep - Uriah Heep

Good, decent album.  Next out of the box:

Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith

Decent album.  But for me its noting special.  Just decent.  Perhaps because its right after British Steel / Point of Entry / Screaming for Vengeance.  After those 3 (and esp. the last one) anything might pale in comparison.  Perhaps because I enjoy Turbo and Ram it Down which come after it.  Decent songs but some how it just does not mesh for me.  Like I said, decent but nothing more.

REM- Murmur

REM- Document

REM- Life's Rich Pageant

REM- Out Of Time

I always forget how much I think REM are one of the greatest bands of all time. Oof...they could soundtrack my summer, easily.

Pearl Jam- Ten

Pearl Jam- Lightning Bolt

Pearl Jam- Dark Matter

Ditto. Only I never forget how much I think they are one of the greats.

Dan Fogelberg-Exiles (9/10)

How and why did i think this album was lesser?

it's just as good as any classic IMO.  it's not much of a departure for him.  it just has 80's production.

The real departure for him was the album prior High country Snows.  cause that album was blue Grass.  and thanks I hate it, lol.

but no i love Exiles  ans with this i love all his albums from 74-87.  Except HCS.

After this he did REALLY decline though.
