Saxon are fantastic, definitely becoming a favourite band of mine. This is the best of their albums to me right now. Great albums! I saw The Used live at a festival back in 2019. They were great. 1

I saw them in the 2000s a few times. Can I be honest? Their first two albums are superior to MCR's first two. I think it's a shame MCR got big and The Used didn't. Both bands deserved it. 1

I think Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge is a phenomenal album, but so is In Love And Death. Bert's lyrics have a certain wit to them that differs from MCR. 1

When it comes to post-90s Emo, The Used, In Love And Death and Three Cheers are probably my top three emo albums. The biggest competition come from Funeral For A Friend, Jimmy Eat World and The Juliana Theory. 1

And Bleed American is phenomenal. Edited July 26, 2022 by Super25Smasher Added sentence.

Entre_Perpetuo Posted July 28, 2022 Author Posted July 28, 2022 My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge The Used - In Love And Death Save Face - Another Kill For The Highlight Reel Oh yeah, today is a pop punk / 00s emo day. I don't think I share the sentiment of preferring The Used to MCR, but I do absolutely wish The Used had been bigger. They're fantastic, and plenty pop enough for the radio. 1
bluefox4000 Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Streets-1st (8/10) now i see where Kansas got their 80's sound. This is an 80's supergroup with Steve Walsh on vocals. When Kansas reformed. Walsh just brought in this sound. This is essentialy an early draft of Power. Mick 1
