Mr. Not Posted March 19, 2022 Share Posted March 19, 2022 ^ this is true, but if i were ever in a band i'd actually prefer to be the one playing rhythm, then just sometimes work in more lead-like riffs to go along with the composition, and sometimes have a 2nd solo thrown in.. but i wouldn't want to be the lead guitarist, it's a lot of work and i know too many others could do it better than me. i think coheed and cambria is a good go-to example for what i'm saying here, claudio's the rhythm but he still gets guitar solos too, and his rhythm parts are often just as complex -- sometimes more so -- than travis's Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
