A Rush Coloring book? The guys have taken the next step to completely commercializing the band. Gene Simmons would be proud. https://www.amazon.ca/RUSH-Coloring-Book-David-Calcano/dp/1970047003/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 I guess Geddy need more baseball memorabilia.

JohnnyBlaze
Got that. It's good. How many pages? Did you color everything? Did you use old school crayons? Some fancy schmancy colored pencils? The blood of infidels?

The blood of infidels? For mine, I used a basic colored pencil set. The Blood of Infidels set i had was disappointing because every marker was red; guess I shouldn't have gone for the 144-pack.

Gene Simmons has said "hold my beer" many times over when it comes to the commercialization of KISS. If RUSH ever made urns decorated like their album covers, I'd get a Hemispheres one for my ashes when the time comes.

They have had a shop on Etsy for a long time that sells a lot of cool stuff. Not sure what the story was with the guys authorizing them and their stuff, but they did. It bugged me more when I saw all those unauthorized Neil tribute shirts all over the internet last spring. I would go nuts these days if I couldn't wear my "Geddy for President" button I got from them. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Fantoons?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=234786069&search_query=Rush

Seems wrong not to color anything. It reminds me of my old classmates who'd never read their comic books. Instead, they'd just put the newly bought comic into a plastic bag and say "This'll be value one day"...thirty plus years later the comics never became valuable. I've digressed.

toymaker
I'd buy a paint by numbers of a great 70s shot, double bass drums, orchestra bells, and double-necks. Or a similar 80s shot with lots of red for the Tamas. And it should be huge. Like 4' X 6.' Photo-real, not cartoony like the colouring book. I'd waste a shitload of time on that. Awesome - I imagine there'd be some sort of copyright thing, though? Like, they're happy to do personal photos but wouldn't do someone else's protected photo? Also, I'd need to figure out how to print it out nice and big . . . That's cool, though, B. - thanks for the links. Now, I just need a few things: time . . . skill . . . patience . . . a big-ass printer . . . paint . . . some sense of colour . . . someone else to do it for me . . .
