i hadn't heard GOAT yet either.

In business, we have Subject Matter Experts (SME's).

Auditors will consult an ess-em-ee to verify tricky inventory (like diamonds) or validate estimated calculations (like Incurred But Not Reported claims).

Its fun! :nerd:

I’ll bet I can out-nerd you with some SPC (Statistical Process Control) data!

And maybe some process and design FMEA’s?

...me neither.

I would go with influential over great, although he probably was also the greatest. My guess is more drummers were influenced by Neil Peart than any other drummer in history.

I could be wrong about this, only because I’m not an engineer...but I believe it stands for finite material element analysis.

(You sure you still want one?)

For influence I might go with Gene Krupa overall, but rock drummers might be Neil or Bonzo. Edited by goose

Don't worry. It's my first language and I had to look it up a couple of years ago.

I wondered why my soccer team was increasingly using four legged players!

Never heard of it either. I suspect it is an invention of American sports commentators, such as the appalling "winningest" and " x for ohh" (when they mean zero, not a letter of the alphabet!).
