I thought i'd rank Taylor's Swifts Versions based on Vault songs

1. Red

2. 1989

3. Fearless

4. Speak now.

Red far and away the best fault she has (and really obviously special to her by the amount we got) and i won't hear otherwise.  1989's really grew on me it is more midnights than 1989 but i love Slut!  Say Don't go, and is it over now.

the other 2 vaults i don't play much at all.  But they're there i guess, lol

Overall I think Fearless is a grower...I see you changing your mind. As for Speak Now, best bonus material so far

Mick

Electric Touch is probably the least spoken about track, it's me I see hyping it the most

Right, I'm once again obsessed with Pearl Jam. These are my current rankings:

1. Ten (always)

2. Pearl Jam

3. Lightning Bolt

4. Vs

5. No Code

6. Yield

7. Vitalogy

8. Riot Act

9. Backspacer

10. Binaural

11. Gigaton

Just for the record, I love every minute of Binaural, to give you some idea of how pointless it can be at times to rank stuff.

Gigaton has really won me over. Its my least favourite, but it's still an immensely rewarding listening experience.

2023 has really seen my tastes develop further outside of the last few years comfort zone. Much less metal, instead its been surprisingly diverse. In Flames, Dan Fogelberg, Jimmy Eat World, Pearl Jam, Taylor Swift and numerous indie bands of the nineties have really taken me over.

Dare I say it, Pearl Jam and In Flames may just be my top two bands these days. And to think this is after nearly twenty years of being a fan of both, it's impressive they still have such relevance in my life.

In light of his new album.

Peter Gabrial

1. Security

2. Melt

3. Us

4. Car

5. So

6. Scratch

7. Up

I can't place the new one just yet.  i'll come back and do this again when i figure it out.  but i like it.  if i had to guess i'd probably be after So for me.  it's really strong but i wouldn't put it anywhere near Security or melt. Way better than Up though.  I was pleased how good his voice has held up.  He Sounded GREAT on I/0

I felt like ranking something today.

Green Day.

1. Warning

2. 21st Century Breakdown

3. Dookie

4. Nimrod

5. American Idiot

6. Father of All.....

7. Insomiac

8. Uno!

9.  Tre

10. Dos

11. Saviors (it's early but i'm just placing this here.....i've had about 5 spins)

12. Revolution Radio

13. Kerplunk

14.  39/smooth

I don't really like the 2 early albums at all.  and the new one i'm actually calling a disappointment.  yes i even think the trilogy tops it and in actuality the trio is very uneven, lol

I definitely like Saviors more than the trilogy. I'd put Father last.

Surprised to see Kerplunk so low!

I feel like Warning over Dookie and AI is a pretty hot take, as well as FOA not being dead last (of course I like that one too).

AI is a masterpiece. I went off it for years due to overexposure in the media, but when I revisited it I was blow away. 21CBD is equal for me.

Warning has been my number at various stages as well.

Dookie is fine, but I far prefer Insomniac and Nimrod.

AI is great but i feel like it's not perfect. the last 2 songs drag it down a bit IMO.  Still top 5 though,  Warning is fantastic and kinda doesn't get the praise it deserves.  it has fans but not near enough.  i'm the only FOA mark alive.   i know it but i feel like people are the loons not me, lol. i think FOA is fan-fukking-tastic.

Insomniac, Nimrod and Warning I think deserve way more love and respect than they get. Its like Dookie and AI are held to a high status and all in the middle is just serviceable...

God I'm glad I revisited GD in 2018. I've been in love with them ever since

To be fair to it.  AI WAS a moment.  i'd say in the US a cultural milestone.  and remember GD at that point kinda fell off.  popiularity had faded a bit.  when rhey appeared again.  we all went "i remember these guys!!!"

Whether AI is perfect actually is up for debate but it's importance can't be forgotten.

We should do a buddy listen some time and share thoughts. I mean, we both remember that era well haha

I'd never heard of GD until AI came out, and in the UK it was a milestone moment, like we worshipped them at that point too.

I haven’t heard like half their discography but I’ll rank what I know:

Green Day:

Nimrod

American Idiot

Dookie

Revolution Radio

Warning

Father Of All…

I know I’ve listened to Insomniac and 21CB once or twice each but not enough to know what to do with them. Brain Stew and 21 Guns are great songs at least.

Also I don’t hate FOA, it’s just like a novelty record to me.
