Hems and then 1st album = best

Yeah hemispheres is numero uno

I always like the signals font. I remember looking at the ablum upside down in hopes of finding some hidden meaning

What a blazed chimp....

Yeah, I really dig the Signals cover lettering too. You just reminded me that when I was in high school I made bigger versions of those letter and had them on my wall. That was, you know, between dating and studying and stuff...

Often when you see Rush related stuff, they go for the first album logo - it's even this forum's go-to emoji: :rush:. Do a search on Rush logo and it's the one that comes up the most. I suppose there's something significant about it as the first expression of the band.

For me, this will always be the best and most classic:

There's just something both elegant and urgent about it - like someone with awesome penmanship wrote it in a rush...seems to best represent the band to me.

Any thoughts? What about other bands?

I can't tell you how many times I doodled that in class when I was in highschool.

Why not? Is it a secret?

No, it's not a secret, it has more to do with the fact that I was doodling a majority of the time in highschool and my math is not so good.

Pink, though? Should have been red!

Toymaker, you do know that the Moon Records vinyl pressing is not pink. It's red!

"Red Sector A"

"Red Lenses"

"Red Tide"

"Red Barchetta"

So is my copy! Years ago I took a red marker and colored the letters!

I'll commend them for always having a font that reflects the nature of the album well. 2112 is very sci-fi, AFTK is medieval, GuP is simple and digital, A Show Of Hands is very "mullets and pastel suits", etc.

AFTK looks the coolest to me, hard to say which best represents them overall though.
