You had me tilting my head like a dog not comprehending what they're seeing/hearing. lol

 

Weird in mostly good ways! The low-fi tinged and reverb drenched mix works really well for the song. I hear a lot of those influences listed on your Soundcloud page, but this is uniquely yours.

To be fair, kick heavy hard rock and metal mixes are all the rage and in a professional studio one can execute this without sacrificing the rest of the mix, but for poor slobs like us it's better to err on the side of caution and mix slightly more conservatively knowing the tools WE have aren't completely up to the task of bleeding every possibly decibel before hitting the wall.

Not to be confused with a country singer of a similar name, this guy has a wonderful gift of guitar, piano and singing that I thought of instantly when I listened to some of the above (for the first time, my bad, sorry).

He will either inspire you, or you will already be miles above his limited releases.
