Here's a song I recorded full production with a friend of mine here in DC. I think it's really good, do check it out!

Really top notch stuff. I'd only suggest tweaking the vocals with the guitars. Vox compressed lowered a bit more, bit of saturation on the top end with the guitars. Sounds great as is though, great songwriting.

Thank you! :) It was my producer's first real stab at vocals, so I agree we've got some learning to do on that end. I think next time out I'll try and push for something a little wider too.

Solid!  The recording is very well done, agree the vocals might be a touch too dry and dead center.  I can't help but wonder if a bit of acoustic rhythm would add some extra depth and energy to the mix.

I like the interesting changes and musical tidbits scattered throughout the song.  Keeps it fresh and quirky, but not gimmicky.

Thanks so much!

By the way, I recently put together a band, and we played this at our first gig.  A little shaky in places, but I think we pulled it off rather well. Here's a video if you're interested.  https://youtu.be/3jmmoSdEvSc

I'm not 'round these parts as often as I should be anymore, but glad to see you're getting out there - really interesting stuff!

Thank you, interesting is definitely part of what we’re going for.

I’ve submitted this video to NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest this year. I figure I should share it around as well, so here’s one of the better songs I’ve ever written imo:
