I think I like BtRoD better. VoC has a lot of cool bits and sounds very epic, but is a little clunkier than the other choice here. Beyond is perfect.

Beyond The Realms Of Death.

 

I've always thought VOC was a little overrated. It's a very good song but have never understood the adoration a lot of fans seem to have for it. Wouldn't even make my top 20 Priest songs. Realms most certainly would. It set the musical standard for the heavy metal ballad and the lyrics are much better.

Realms, definitely. Powerful, chilling vocal and some of the most epic guitar soloing in hard rock/metal history. Victim is fantastic too of course, but I consider it slightly overrated amidst Priest's vast catalog.

Both amazingly good songs, BTROD has one of my favourite guitar solos ever, but overall, I think VOC edges it for the vocal performance at the breakdown.
