Connery. All others are imitators.

Craig does not imitate Connery in any way at all.

That didn't come out right. I meant to write imitations. Not the real thing.

Oh I see!

I enjoy Craig a lot but I do agree with you. It feels totally different to the James Bond we all green up with. (Sadly...I grew up mainly with Brosnan).

But I just happen to find Craig the most convincing of all the bonds. Connery is the most iconic though.

Brosnan hands down. Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies are easily my two favorite Bond movies. He had fun with the role, and had the Bond wit and debonair down pat.

Can't stand Daniel Craig- the role lost all levity and fun with him.

1. Brosnan

2. Moore

3. Connery

4. Dalton

5. Craig

Connery easy. Nostalgia? What's that? He's the best Bond with or without it.

Craig's probably second. One problem though: baby blue eyes aren't intimidating.

Any eye colour can belong to a murderer.

Even handsome men are monsters. Josef Mengele was deemed handsome and kind looking by the Jews he lured into abuse.

It makes no difference to me what his eye colour is. He's a kick ass spy, with eyes that explain why it's so easy for him to lure so many beautiful women with ease.

I watched Goldeneye again last night. Brosan's era started off with so much promise. as i said that's an easy top 5 bond film for me. i just love that film.

After that.......yeesh.......I don't really blame brosnan.....they're just bad films.

Not sure what Roger Moore's eye color was but he wasn't intimidating whatsoever. Craig's eyes may be blue but he still looks like he could kick someone's ass.

In terms of nostalgia, Moore SHOULD be my favorite since his were the first Bond movies I saw (...and I regularly saw them in the cinema as a kid with my dad and/or my bros). However, he's my 3rd favorite Bond behind Connery and Craig. So nostalgia doesn't get Roger Moore very far in my case.

Easily the worst Bond flick was Brosnan's The World Is Not Enough.

So far in this poll there've been 17 votes...

Connery: 10 votes (58.82%)

Moore: 3 votes (17.65%)

Craig: 3 votes (17.65%)

Brosnan: 1 vote (5.88%)

Dalton: 0 votes (0%)

Compare this to the 2008 Best Bond poll (made BEFORE Craig's second film) with 33 votes...

Connery: 20 votes (60.61%)

Moore: 5 votes (15.15%)

Craig: 6 votes (18.18%)

Brosnan: 2 votes (6.06%)

Dalton: 0 votes (0%)

Lazenby: 0 votes (0%)

This is kind of interesting to me because there have been 3 more Craig movies since that first poll...yet the results are still nearly identical.

Moore films were WAY to camp for me.

his first 3 were just ok.......but after that to silly.

Mick

I'd still take his last (A View to a Kill) and both of Dalton's flicks over Brosnan's The World Is Not Enough.

I Love Dalton's license to Kill. The world is not Enough was Awful.

That movie flopped but I've always loved it as well. I sort of liked the rogue agent angle.

I liked him well enough but when he was spending time with the cellist he had this dopey look on his face all the time. Craig would have just had a smart-ass looking smirk.
