blackhawkrush
Anybody knows what the weather forecast is for Tuesday and Wednesday in Cleveland? Wouldn't mind seeing some rain, giving Kluber an extra day of rest...
blackhawkrush
3-1 Cleveland, and they're doing it without their no. 2 and 3 starting pitchers.
goose
3-1 Cleveland, and they're doing it without their no. 2 and 3 starting pitchers. Wasn't able to watch, but got sporadic updates. Word was that the Cubs were getting drilled and making errors. Gotta check into how the game actually went... Kluber did his job, for the most part, pitch count at about 80. Timely hitting from the Indians. I'm glad it didn't rain. The forecast was calling for 80% possibility of the wet stuff. Leave it to those idiots to predict global warming. :P Edited October 30, 2016 by blackhawkrush

Alph Seeker
I haven't followed this thread - has anyone raised the question of who Geddy may be rooting for? Considering they got their start in Cleveland, but he got into baseball by watching the Cubs. Just wondering.

goose
"What a job by Lester." B-sh*t, he walked Guyer.Pro-Cub announcing is grating. That said, good job Cubbies for getting the bats going! Great game!
Principled Man
"What a job by Lester." B-sh*t, he walked Guyer. That was a Greg Maddux strike 3. Clearly off the plate, but since he hit the catcher's target perfectly, the ump calls it a strike.

Rutlefan
Cubs pitchers are whiners. In the Hirschbeck game, acc to MLB analysis (as related by Al Leiter), 17 of 20 bad calls went the Cubs' way. You didn't see Cleveland pitchers bitching though had every right to. Last night's game had a tight strike zone but it was equally tight for both sides, but unlike Kluber Lackey needs to bitch. Now Lester complains because he doesn't get every ball called a strike.
