  1. I'm thinking of picking up their box set and the Head DVD. I saw Head a few years back on the independent movie channel. What a trip. One scene in particular stood out, when they were in the restaurant and some bickering devolved into a shouting match. Mike looked genuinely upset. He was such a cool cat that this out-of-character reaction seemed authentic.
  2. If things work out right, plan on picking up the disc in a couple of weeks.
  3. From what I can glean from the trailer, JJ and his people are going to use Star Trek the original series' material from the episode Arena. In this one, Kirk duels the Gorn. Idris Elba's character is reminiscent of that big, green scaly dude. Plus I got a bit of a Borg vibe when I saw the Enterprise attacked by the little silver thingies.
  4. I'm going in with low expectations for STB. I can't get too pumped up for it, but it might surprise me.

  6. I gushed yesterday when I went to X-Men: Apocalypse. Not only did the character Quicksilver sport a Moving Pictures tee SPOILER ALERT he also wore a cast for his broken leg with "I love Rush" penned thereon. :D

  18. Easy answers dude but I appreciate the deep insightful question. First you MUST have an appreciation, respect and enjoyment of 90% of the band's music/songs. That 90% must come from all three eras. The Golden BROON Era, The Synth Era and the Modern Era. B: with exceptions for Millennials and EXTREME hardship you MUST have attended three live shows. PM me if you need to fill out the proper form for a Hardship Waiver. I'm warning y'all now getting married and have two crumb crunchers is NOT HARDSHIP. 3: YOU MUST LEGALLY own 90% of the band's music/songs. Format doesn't matter. Have to disagree with #2. Never caught them live. Own 100% of the band's major *legit* releases. (No boots, that is.) Three tees in my closet help solidify my fanhood. :D
  19. While I listened to 2112 many moons previously, g/p was my true "Gateway Album" to the greatness that is Rush.
  20. Abba (think what you will, they could craft a tune!) Kansas Bay City Rollers (Saturday Night was the first 45 I ever owned) America (Murika?) Blondie Dave Matthews Band (Crash rocks!!) Def Leppard (I'm into High & Dry and Pyromania only); the other stuff largely remains in disrepute here Enya A Flock of Seagulls Modern English Paramore Remy Zero Simon & Garfunkel
  21. Too many to list. Except my tunes are on my Google Cloud.
