After last night, 6. Loved 'em all!

7th row Time Machine tour Allentown, Pa.

In no particular order... Signals, Moving Pictures, Permanent Waves, Power Windows, Grace Under Pressure.

Test for Echo is easily my least favorite Rush album. I love Driven and Resist. The rest is forgettable and in some cases abysmmal. Vapor Trails is one my favortie albums because of how much attitude it had. You could tell the three of them were really coming through some shit on that album. Mixing issues or not, Vapor Trails is one of the most pure Rush albums ever made.

Signals is such a unique album. Personally I find Signals to be nearly a perfect album and it's definitely one of my favorites. I think both songs serve the album well. GUP is a little bit more aggressive and the lyrical content is in a different direction for most of the songs. Lyrically speaking, Kid Gloves would have went well on Signals.

That couple can definitely be described as "casual fans".......too bad for them..... I don't understand why people like that even buy a ticket. It's like people going to see Grateful Dead just to hear "Touch of Gray" or buying tickets to a Sabbath reunion show just to hear "Iron Man". I just don't get it. If all you enjoy hearing is stuff from Moving Pictures, then please stay at home and listen to the album. Like it or not, they made numerous records after that, and yes, some of them were better.

Most miserable I've seen would have to be the heavier set woman who fainted because of the heat twenty minutes before the start of the show during the Snakes and Arrows tour in 2008. It was outdoors, August and one of the hottest days of the year. She had passed out and was subsequently removed by security because they figured she was drunk. I remember listening to her argue her case, along with six people around her defending her, but they didn't care. She was removed and I didn't see her again that night. Very poor judgement by security.

Wow, I don't feel so wierd now. Everytime I see them live it happens. Choked up, tears, an overflowing feeling of joy that they really exist. And that I'm standing there again, privileged enough to see them.

Only public Rush moment I've ever had was standing in a local convenience store with my Time Machine Tour shirt on, the one with Moving Pictures on the front and Time Machine tour on the back. Well the shirt was all of twelve hours old and I mean you can tell a new shirt from one that's thirty years old. At least I thought you could. Either way this guy and his girl friend are looking in my general direction and the guy says "Cool shirt, did you see the Moving Pictures tour?" For some reason I couldn't resist being a dick so I said: "Yes I did and my Delorean is outside if you guys wanna see it too." He looked confused instead of pissed off which was slightly disappointing.

100% agree. Saw them in Philly and as soon as Geddy strikes the opening notes to Subdivisions and the lights go up, every time, I have to fight back tears. I swear it never gets old and I always feel so thankful that I'm there again.

I was in the club box in Philly and during the last few songs I could see her waving the sticks around in the air and I looked at my dad and said, "Well, there's who got Peart's sticks tonight." Very cool. Congrats to your wife on a priceless gift.

Attended the Philly show with my dad and brother. It was our first time seeing a show at the Wells Fargo Center so we were pretty amped up. We are all Philly sports fans and die hard Rush fans so it was like the best of both worlds. Upon getting into the venue, my dad and brother purchased shirts and gear, I found the closest bar. A three hour drive through horrible traffic doesn't do my stress levels any good. We then headed for our seats, which were in Club Box 114. When we first bought these tickets we were a bit apprehensive about how far away the stage would look. To say the least, we were wrong. It was a fabulous view of the entire stage, and everything that went on. Hell, I could watch Peart's feet working the hi-hat and the bass. Not only that, the accommodations in that section are second to none. Bathroom, bar, food: 10 steps away. My brother and I had food and drinks delivered to our seats! It was f***ing awesome. Most of our section stood throughout the entire show, including us. There were some people behind us who sat but never asked us to sit or complained that we were standing. Rush was fantastic as always and I personally loved the setlist. I was relieved to see Alex get sound back during YYZ just before the start of his guitar solo. That was almost catastrophic. Hearing The Pass, Middletown Dreams and Red Sector A were oldie highlights for me. My brother almost went nuclear when they broke into Force 10. That's been a favorite of his since he was about eight. Clockwork Angels is a masterpiece and my dad called "Headlong Flight" the best song of the show. That statement carries a lot of weight with me since my dad saw Rush for the first time at the forum in Harrisburg during the Fly By Night tour. He's a day 1 fan that has seen and heard it all. To say the least, we all had a blast. Afterwards, we hit Pat's for a cheese steak and then home.

Some how I doubt they use the same entrance as fans. Either way you would be coming off as an obsessed ass.

I wish I had an informed opinion on this matter. Closest I've ever been is row 7.

They will start to drop lights at 7:30. The video intro will last about 10 minutes.

My Rush bias and love aside, the RRHOF has zero credibility. It has nothing to do with music and everything to do with politics and shock value and MTV appearances involving lude and/or obnoxious behavior. It also has a lot to do with mainstream popularity, which, thankfully, Rush has typically avoided. Not to be outdone though, they will be inducted by the arrogant pricks at the Hall. Why? Because Lifeson stated in an interview that they don't really want them there and they (meaning Rush) don't really wanna be there. So, just to spite they're going to induct them. I hope Lifeson has the nerve to tell them to f**k off. If any of the three of them could get that offended to actually say something off color in front of a camera, I imagine it would be Alex.

I think most of it has to do with the Rush you were introduced to. I was born in 1980 and most of my favorite Rush music is from the synth era, even most of HYF, which most Rush fans don't really like.

Neil said in an interview once that he doesn't do meet n greets because of the way over zealous fans can act. In the same breath, he mentioned an encounter with a random fan at a gas pump. The guy simply reached out his hand, shook Neil's and said "Thank you." No sweaty palms, no please sign my notebook, no "oh my god, you're so f***ing awesome." I'm an introvert myself, always have been, so maybe I can relate. I don't need to meet him. In fact, I really wouldn't want to meet any of them. What in the hell would I say to three guys I don't know?

This is why I don't drink before a show and also why I'm very selective with who I go with. I won't be a part of a group that ruins someone elses experience.

The drum sound on Moving Pictures is pretty unique and because of the huge influence that album had on drumming, it will probably go down as one of the best sounding drum albums of all time. I'm no drummer but some of my favorite Rush recordings drum wise are MP, PW, HYF & RTB. Especially HYF. I know, sue me but the drum sound on Time Stand Still, Lock & Key, Mission, Prime Mover. I think it's just to die for.

I'm sure they could play it. It is a very difficult tune to play though with time sig changes and stuff. However, it is well within their capabilities. Maybe R40.

I love the 80s stuff. Especially the keyboard thick material. I've said it before, I still remember the day my father walked in the door with Signals fresh from the record store. I cannot wait for 10/12!!!
