Brilliant mix of Highway Star by Wilson. Blackmore given less prominence in the mix so sounds very much a band performance with everything in its right place. Could be controversial though. Deep Purple - Made in Japan - Steven Wilson Remix Highway Star. Wow, this is going to polarise opinions. It’s crystal clear and the soundstage is incredible. Everything in its right place but…Blackmore given less prominence in the mix than the original(s). I love it it seems more real like you are there. But haters are going to hate.

You’re just jealous because only me and Robert Langdon truly understand it.

In some places it reminds me of Roger Waters.

Not 100% sure how much I like it yet. Seems to me he’s trying to make DSOTM for the 21st Century.
