Is that Paul Stanley?

Saw Dio and Cambell on the Holy Diver tour, astoundingly good, Cambell was all leather trousers and ripping guitar, Dio perhaps at the height of his vocal prowess. Dio, Sabbath and Rainbow songs, masterly. Shame Cambell lost his way a bit playing a second fiddle roll in the supergroups when he was a far better player than that, I know Def Leppard must pay well but he must be bored out of his tree strumming along. Good luck to him, he's had a rough time with cancer over the last couple of years, two sides to everyday story but I will remember that night in Bristol, U.K as one of the great gigs I have been to.

Neil Peart bashes Kiss' all out marketing Approach
gornhay replied to Self-Indulgence's topic in Rush
"We've got about a gazillion songs" said some frontman at just about every tour for the last decade. -
I would love an extended instrumental passage, but slow, La Villa solo type thing, just instrumental bursts that I could loose myself in, going on for about 15 mins. Something they haven't ever really done.

True the M&G is so...obligatory and sterile, Well I had quite a jocular but brief conversation with Ged about spin bowling , gave him a cricket ball to replace his baseball collection. He said he would bowl a googly with it.

Front row 3 times, 2nd row 3 times, caught a geddy shirt and an Alex shirt, had a meet and greet. All tickets were from ticketmaster type outlets, never paid more than the standard ticket fee. Guess I'm just lucky.

Rather have Audrey Soloman in leather trews than Ben Mink.

My ears are knackered with tinnitus, use plugs. Went to many loud gigs in small venues but Rush can be very loud as well, R30 in London was crazy loud to me but sometimes you may just be standing in a sweet spot. Wear plugs.

There's something about this that's so black, it's like how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black.

If I recall correctly this was posted by Rush on their own website shortly after they played that gig. I always wondered if they filmed the whole gig.

He's singing the same as what he sang in the GUP tour video during La Villa. I think.

Where's the blu ray though?

Why dont they sell posters of the album covers, or framed lithos etc at the backstage club? I would love the VTR image for my office, it,s got to be a money maker.

Test for Echo - kept waiting for a song to latch on to on first spin, but nothing and still remains the bottom of the heap, no great songs, no emotional connect.

Like the weird sounds behind the stacatto riffs at the start of Secret Touch.
