  1. I'm not sure but the shirt was great! Had a friend at college once that threw a spring kegger and you could buy a shirt for 6.00- "Welcome back my friends, where the party never ends. . " Yeah, immature and dumb but the print shop used the best t shirts- really soft and with a comfy neck! I kept it for years, Ive never had another one that nice
  2. Nice! That will be fun to have this summer.
  3. RIP John Brenkus. Depression is such a tough thing to deal with, I'm really sorry to hear this.
  4. Glenn is good, Ritchie is better! Glenn has got to be better at getting along with bandmates, although the one time I saw Rainbow, Ritchie wasn't the problem. They opened for Jethro Tull, who were having some type of problem and we had to wait two hours after Rainbow; I thought the gentle people of Pittsburgh were going to riot; it got ugly. But the bands were great!
  5. I just heard this! . RIP, Rick! I always enjoyed his guitar playing and his work with Johnny and Edgar Winter! We have lived many, many places in the US; we used to live where Joe Walsh lived for awhile in Ohio, and we lived in Indiana for awhile near where Derringer formed the McCoys. (That's what's great about music, it was 25 years later and our neighbors still talked about them playing at dances and stuff.) Hang On Sloopy is such great garage rock! This one hits hard. RIP Rick.
  6. I always thought that Malcolm made Angus sound really good, different type of sound than with Barre, but Barre is the better player.
  7. That was so good! I should watch that show again before it expires on my dvr.
  8. RIP Jim Irsay; you were not the typical NFL owner in a lot of ways!
  9. That's an awesome memory. Glad you were able to get the blaster!
  10. Schenker! Strangely, he was the topic of conversation for a little while here on Mother's Day, just because our son thought UFO was some kind of big secret we had never heard about. He was like, "Wow, you listened to UFO?" (hes not usually like that, he knows hubs and I both had separate radio shows in college to have access to all the music but he thought UFO and Michael Schenker were really unknown.) I have a voice kinda like Fran Drescher so you know it was all music!
  11. Yes, great thread! Thank you, everyone! Ghost Budgie Porcupine Tree Iron Maiden (I was aware but never really listened much) Tragically Hip Decided to relisten after a number of years and really enjoyed- Yes Genesis Think there are a few more but I will have to think. . .
  12. Norm !! You will be missed! He and Cliff Claven were always worth watching for, even during the years when the rest of the show was a Sam/Diane soap opera. RIP, George Wendt.
  13. I love them, I would probably put Legend first, but great list! I like Rose of Cimeron a lot, but I remember when my roommate bought a copy, she didnt realize it was kind of an epic. She said, "I didn't know this was slow, it reminds me of David Cassidy or something!" 😄😄 She grew into loving it.
  14. Should be an awesome show, but sorry to hear you're between jobs. I hope something opens up soon!
  15. Mahavishnu Orchestra for the win! I'm not that familiar with Allan Holdsworth although I listed to a bunch before the last vote
  16. Happy Birthday, jamie !! I hope it's an awesome day for you and a wonderful weekend! Endlessly rocking!
  17. It would be nice to see the Cup go to Canada again! (Since the Penguins didnt make the playoffs
  18. Thanks, Derek! Can you remind me again, how many out of this ten are we supposed to vote for? I am easily distracted
