  9. I can honestly say that I know nothing about Nickelback - song/album/member. But googling Nickelback, I get these images: http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/NBindex_zpsxpbvvrhm.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/e6a2e17c4d22dcbe596fe39a364d4c14_zpstda0j3uc.jpg

  12. Aerosmith - Done with Mirrors - solid comeback album from the toxic twins, while still being toxic Van Halen - Fair Warning - the slowest selling album of the DLR era but we all know better Atom Heart Mother - Pink Floyd - Love Gilmour's work on these song
  13. Heard this today.... Yikes Player - Baby Come Back
  14. I was at the show in 2005 at MSG when the audience stopped YES from finishing "And You And I" with a standing ovation. Anderson, Howe, Squire, Wakeman and White. Goosebumps moment for sure. After Jon departed I saw YES with Benoit David and walked out of the show after 20 mins. To me Jon is the heart and soul of YES. I have seen Jon solo so I will see ARW for sure. Check out the crowd starting at 2:50
  15. I've been to a few concerts solo and have no issues. I have no problem talking with people that I'm sitting next to. A few reasons why I go solo: There is a band I really want to see and I'll pay $$$$ for seats and my friends won't. My friends have no interest or cannot make that date. Yeah, It's better going with someone to a concert BUT ---- Time Waits for No One. My recent solo concerts: Rush at Newark, NJ but I met up with ReGorLaTroy --- GOOD TIMES David Gilmour at MSG April 2016
  16. I've seen Jon solo 4 times and he's always entertaining. Love his story telling about the background of the songs. Always an enchanting night.
  17. Well, most of the members of Faces play on Rod's 1st three solo albums so it's kinda Faces anyway. In the US, Rod's 1st album was called The Rod Stewart Album. Reminded me of the Stones Beggar's Banquet Album cover. Love this. It's so down and dirty http://youtu.be/aiBI3ssWnMw
  18. 46 years ago today Live at Leeds was released. I remember having my mother drive me to EJ Korvettes in West Orange NJ so I could by the album. To this day, it is still my favorite album.
  19. Love the Faces. My fave albums are "A Nod is good as a blink to a Blind Horse" and "Ooh La La'. This is a real toe tapper. http://youtu.be/JrCDCQTASBU
  20. 50 years ago today The Mama's and The Papa's " Monday, Monday " was #1 in the Billboard Top 100 singles. I remember it. :codger:

  22. In his defense ... most people around here know if you see him you don't run up and try to talk to him or get a pic ... he will do those things at certain times in certain places but not when he is just going to the store or trying to have dinner etc. ... I've seen him a few times around town and I just know not to mess with him ... I'm cool with it ... now all thins doesn't mean he wasn't actually a dick to someone here and there ... he just likes to live his life around here without being bothered too much Well that's just normal... I had a friend that lived in NYC, and he said that it was horrible to watch people just walking up to actors and musicians, and just bugging the living crap out of them! One person he felt totally sorry for was Jerry Seinfeld! Said people were always bothering him... But the few that I've spoken with said that it's just general crap with him..wait staff at restaurants, and all that... I have a buddy who has had direct contact with him, from a music/ tech/ TV production point of view and said he is not pleasant person. John Mellencamp or Jerry Seinfeld? Just curious. I'm a little tired today, was having trouble understanding which one, in case I run into them ??!! :P :P John Cougar
