Complete The Sentence: "Happiness Is Not Having To......"
Shredder2 replied to Principled Man's topic in Random Samples
...worry about things, as they're getting better over time. -
They obviously prefer the QUANTITY of the sales over the QUALITY of the music. This world is dumb on so many levels, Webster's gonna need a second dictionary dedicated to the nouns of stupidity.

Rush for Super Bowl 1/2 time show 2014
Shredder2 replied to losingit2k's topic in On The Lighted Stage
If Rush would ever be playing a half-time show, they'll obviously play the songs the general public knows, like "The Spirit of Radio", "Tom Sawyer" and whatnot. ...but no, I doubt they'll ever play at the Super Bowl. -
I was actually so frickin' happy when they played this song in Houston! :D My favorite song from Roll the Bones! :D

If this is believable, I guess there is a 2013 leg...
Shredder2 replied to Thunder Bay Rush's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I'm guessing around late-December we'll be getting some more tour dates for 2013. -
Most miserable person you've seen at a Rush show?
Shredder2 replied to Alchemical's topic in On The Lighted Stage
Well, at the December 2nd show in Houston, there was this guy a few rows in front of us, he was moving his arms to the music like he was high or something... I'll see if I can find some footage of it, because I surely did saw people recording him! :P -
Am I the only one wanting to see "Middletown Dreams" stay in the setlist for the 2013 legs of the Clockwork Angels Tour?

More Tours or New Music? What would you rather have first?
Shredder2 replied to WIDE-ANGLE WATCHER's topic in Rush
Seeing at how Rush is nearing their 40th anniversary, I'd rather have an R40 at the moment versus a new album. We'll most likely be treated with them playing special gems in an anniversary tour, but who knows? They were playing some gems when they toured for Clockwork Angels! -

I'm telling ya, Rush is too good for a Grammy!

So many good albums this year! Obviously CA is my #1 pick for this year, but if I had to pick one other than Rush, it'd be Asian Kung-Fu Generation's Landmark. 1. Clockwork Angels - Rush 2. Landmark - Asian Kung-Fu Generation 3. Channel Orange - Frank Ocean 4. Uno! - Green Day 5. Tre! - Green Day 6. Oceania - The Smashing Pumpkins 7. Dos! - Green Day

Not sure about myself, but I think it'll be a nice Christmas gift to receive! :D

Oh, my CD collection?! I'll get back to you tomorrow on that. :P

War Paint?! I am proud of your son.

I've yet to obtain my copy of it, but I did, however, listened to it, thanks to Rolling Stone streaming it. After the first listen, I enjoyed it, but I'm still letting it grow on me before I start to go into further detail on my opinion on it.

A lot of riffs on the album are amazing, but this is just one of those polls where I just can't decide! They're too good for my vote!

I love Rush enough to see them live more than once.

QUOTE (drbirdsong @ Oct 26 2012, 01:20 AM) We got the dishes done while the dog waited patiently for clean armor. After that we struck back. This one's the winner! Proceed on! *insert Star Wars theme here*

That riot over across the Beltway making my old school look bad, while the school I attend now look just as disciplined.

Really cool pictures, and quite interesting as well. Thanks for sharing!
