Who here are New Yorkers?

While I don't live there anymore I was born and raised there and spent almost 30 years of my miserable life there (Long Island and Queens)

New Yaawkers are a cool special bunch. Everyone else sucks.

Sorry, you're never going to convince anyone you're over 14.

Apologies to all who are 14 and under.

Yes, thanks for reminding us you're the Center Of The Universe. Will you please let us mere mortals go now?

Tower Records

I used to go to the one in the Village and spend hours there. It was in the same neighborhood that the Fillmore East used to be.

Also, there was a pizza place on the corner of 11th and Sixth or Seventh (it's been years and I've forgotten). Whatever street Balduccis is on, it's the same one. For $1.25 you could get a slice of the biggest, cheesiest and best pizza ever.

And then my favorite pretzel man - Manny - used to stand on the corner of 8th with his cart.

How about Zaro's? Another great place for breakfast pastries and stuff. They used to have these raisin biscuits that I absolutely loved.

Please. This thread is about the awesomeness of New Yorkers.

People are going into excruxiatingly mindnumbing detail about their lives over in the "tell us about yourself" thread yet I allegedly think I'm the "Center of the Universe". Whatavah.
