Sorry Kenneth, didn't mean to ignore your pictures. biggrin.gif

I like the one of the stream, especially. Are you in the Southwest?

I was light years ahead of capturing my 2nd child's birth (having experienced the same operating room and 3.5 years more experience, and better equipment).

I actually documented the whole thing, including the operation (the anesthesiologist was a great help with my P&S camera too). Without posting too many explicit photos, here is one:

And there she is 4 months later heart.gif

Her little Hush shirt is priceless.

She has the face of an angel. smile.gif

Hey... didn't you just get a new fancy-schmancy lens or other camera toy?

Kenneth, you have an eye for clouds. I bet Neil would love your pics! biggrin.gif

This was actually taken by my daughter but it's just such a cool picture... Our first morning in London and we were up at ohgawdthirty due to the time change. Too early for breakfast so we walked a couple of blocks to grab some coffee. On our way back, we saw this: police horses being taken from their barn to the police mews. No video camera with us but the girl managed to snap this off. Note that the horses are lined up according to color from lightest to darkest.

And a few more from Hawai'i:

This is quite a clever pic. Good use of the lines on the road and the building in the background. From a compositional perspective, it's a very dynamic pic.

I will pass that along to her. She is an artist, after all. biggrin.gif

Nice! I like the way the colors of the clouds mimic the colors of the car. Cool car, to boot! biggrin.gif

Santo Tomas Church

Chichicastenango, Guatemala, 1986

Great candid. Lovely photo.

Thanks, I appreciate the comment.

I have many more from my time in Guatemala that I make me proud. Maybe I'll post another one...

San Juan Del Obispo, Guatemala 1986

Paternal Grandmother of my host family preparing lunch in the kitchen. She taught me to make tortillas by hand and

how to roast fresh coffee beans picked from the family's coffee trees.
