Those are fabulous, HowItIs. I'd love to go there some day. Travel is very limited for us these days.

 

With my lens busted, and being too lazy to log around my camera these days, I've been really into camera phone pics. These were all taken with my LG Shine Plus Android phone, with the native camera app and other camera apps like Picplz:

My little Canon was new when I went to see the show last year. But I got a few good ones...

These are not fully zoomed. The digital zoom tends to make the pics grainy like so

Those are very good, especially for the vantage point you had. I had a one in a lifetime chance of getting those photos when I had the opportunity to crash the front seated rows.

From the camera on your phone?! Wow. This shows perfectly why much of photography, as art, comes from seeing something and knowing how to frame it, expose it, etc to capture what the 'artist' in you sees.

Yep, love my camera phone. 5 megapixel, and rated one of the worst camera phones out all the smartphones. Worst my ass, it's because the person doing the reviewing has no clue.

Nah not professional. I get the odd gig here and there for magazines and concerts, but nothing to make a living off of. It's just a nice hobby.

 

My wife's family lives and breathe's photography, so I inherited a lot of books and equipment.
