Freddy Lee
Currently, here at 10:03pm EST we are in the middle of a lunar eclipse otherwise known as the "Blood Moon" for some reason. Damn cool. http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2015/09/supermoon_lunar_eclipse_2015_l.html
Xanadu
I turned on the NASA channel. If you have it, tune in, especially if you are not getting a view of the moon. This is much better than when they started the broadcast and it was just a lot of yapping. :)
treeduck
It's just a normal white moon here. Oh and the one outside in the sky is white too.

Xanadu
What I can see here in the Chicago area is that it does appear to have a bit of a reddish-orange glow but there are some clouds up there that are obscuring my view a little as well. And I thought this moon was supposed to be huge, but it's not. Maybe I missed something.
Fordgalaxy
It's a portent of the end times, some believe.

Digital Dad
Yeah it was pretty bad ass. went out again as it was ending and an interesting shadow falls over the moon making it appear as a 3/4 waning crescent. A pretty cool image. It was almost too bright to look at it as my eyes had trouble focusing on it.

Union 5-3992
I got a good look at it outside even with thin cloud cover. Then my dog escaped outside so I spent even more time basking in it's red light :eyeroll:

The sky up in Lake County cleared up just after sun set, and I got to see the moon in a brilliant white, then after the eclipse half way through, the clouds came through. We couldn't see much.
