It might become a collector's item one day.

Then I can sell it to Zumbi.

He'll probably already have several stolen copies.

Well, I'm def buyin' the rag. First time ever on RS cover? Duh.

Doesn't matter what I think of Jann Werner (douche). It's a cultural touchstone, like it or not.

Way overdue.

But this oughta sell the rest of the tickets available, LOL.

They are gonna go out on top. Rightfully so,. Not many bands get to say that.

I'll buy because "it Rush" as Gene Simmons would say...

Though I agree its kinda of a middle finger. RS is like saying were only going to talk to you because this is your "farewell" and we celebrate that rush is ending their career instead of embracing Rush's importance to rock music which they could of done with a couple of covers during their career.

They should have had a picture of all of them standing with their backs to the camera giving the magazine the finger.

They're too polite for that. Remember what Geddy said: if someone wants to honor you, you should be gracious and accept it! :)

Oh sure, but that's not nearly as funny. :)

If I buy and send it to them, would they sign the cover I wonder?

Ooooh, good idea! You would think they would, why not? but I dunno. That would be a lovely thing to have, though.

I guess I can try. The worst that can happen is that someone pilfers it and I never get it back in the mail, or I get it back in the mail with a "no can do" message. It's worth a shot to try. Maybe I should tell them who I am?

They might deep six it for sure then.

Pigs are flying, the rapture is on the horizon, and Rush is on Rolling Stone. What's next?

That's certainly the attitude they cultivated during the 70s and 80s. See, back when Rush wasn't popular, they didn't want to be popular (or so they lead us to believe), but that's changed in recent years.
