Sweet...

It's spin bike time for me, shower, and make some more popcorn and be back before show time!

Catch you Net Boys and Net Girls later then.

I just realized I have plans for Saturday night, and that I can't watch the Austin show on Periscope! I may have a problem. :D

Aaaand x1yyz's Midwest tour now brings her to ... St. Louis! I'm quite excited to see the band tonight! Although, now that I'm here I realize that maybe this isn't the best place for a female traveling alone. My hotel is only a block or so from the venue but the desk clerk told me to not walk back alone. Now I have to figure out the safest way to get back here after the show. Any locals care to chime in with advice?

Just blend in with the crowd when walking to your hotel. When you say "a block or so," does the mean one or two or eight or ten? Cause parts of St. Louis downtown can be sketchy, but the areas around tonight's venue are usually fine, especially before and after events (cause of the crowds walking to and from).

Looking at Google maps I think I'm two blocks away, on the other side of Union Station.

No problem there.

Coming here from the airport I saw lots of cute brick houses. Then I realized many of them have either broken or boarded up windows. I'm guessing that's not such a good part of town :(

Now about a hour and a half until our fine Canadian boys take the stage!

So are we still mooching off of someone's periscope or are we over that?

My wife just sold me a t shirt for $50 and then spilled beer on me just so i can recreate the concert experience.

Next the whole family will form a line to the bathroom.
