If you really want to cry, I'll sing Stand Back for you!

I LOVE THAT SONG!

Stevie was silly. She now sounds like Springsteen.

Mick, I joined The Ledge.

No guesses what I called myself.

Cornbread?

Stevie Myles?

Both are such good ideas...

Fleetwood Mac's song These Strange Times sounds like Nightwish.

Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction.

Thoughts?

Brilliant record for its time. Astounding, really...they totally shook things up in hard rock at the time.

I haven't listened to it in more than 15 years, though...maybe twenty.

Dislike Tales all you like. At least one person loves it to death!

Ahem...

You discuss bands endlessly, but never once have either one of you ever brought up vintage Moody Blues (the first seven albums). Too dated for you?

I have one album and really like it.

I love sixties music...but I kinda haven't left my Doors stage yet and when I want my sixties fix...its them for me!

I just went on Spotify and I am playing Days Of Future Passed. A beautiful experience!

My verdict on Moody Blues?

I am ashamed I overlooked them. Thank you Lorraine.

I needed the prompt and reminder!

Side Two is the best on that album, but I want the Overture/Prelude played at my funeral. Even if you hated my guts, you will cry.

Now playing The Doors final album Full Circle.

They were awesome, even without Jim Morrison!

Segue, listen to To Our Children's Children's Children, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, Question of Balance, and Seventh Sojourn. I was 18 when the latter came out. On the heels of its release was announced the end of The Moodies. I thought my world had come to an end. Their music was the background of my life from 1968 up to and including the release of the Blue Jays (a Justin Hayward and John Lodge effort) album in 1974 (maybe it was '75)
