In my top 5

 

Rust in Peace by Megadeth.

 

Skullcrushing. Perhaps my second favorite drum album of all time. The lineup is Megadeth at their best. the production is well done and the songs absolutely still blow me away

Mustaine really f*cked up a good thing with that lineup because Friedman's tone, IMO, was the best out of all those LP's you listed

Yeah, he's never realky been able to replace him. That lineup was killer. And Friedmans style is tough to copy.

have you heard Friedman's "Scenes" with Kitaro? Not shred by any stretch but a monumental composition.

 

 

Yeah, he's never realky been able to replace him. That lineup was killer. And Friedmans style is tough to copy.

Were fantastic? Testament still is fantastic. Their last three albums The Gathering, The Formation Of Damnation and Dark Roots Of Earth are as good as anything they've put out. One of the few thrash bands from back in the day you can say that about now.
