I have a feeling Rush is one of those bands that will keep the fans together for a long time after they are retired. I've seen it happen to a forum larger than this one within the last two years. I think you folks are a bit more dedicated so I hope to see you all still 5 years down the line. It will have nothing to do with the status of the band. dude, have you even heard clockwork angels? if not, you really need to - you might be amazingly surprised by how good it is - just sayin'! i can only assume i'll be here for a very long time. the only point of reference i have is that once i spent a lot of time on another music band's message board, and i stuck with it for maybe a year or two after the band broke up, but the board kind of died by then. rush have been around for a lot longer than that band, however, TRF is a lot bigger and idk, i just don't see it disintegrating for quite a long time. There are times when I miss the days where it seemed like I was the only one into Rush. And the band's recent material doesn't top the old stuff.
