Good, bad, andrush Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 QUOTE (jwoods89 @ Aug 5 2012, 02:29 AM) I own that Tool album. Also, as for the Dream Theater albums is it really necessary to get the special editions? I would but that's just me. I forgot to recommend APC, I love them to death, one of my favorite bands. How did you like Thirteenth Step?

invisible airwave Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Early-mid 70s Roxy Music is quite good.
nappy2112 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 The Treatment - This Might Hurt Kind of a cross between AC/DC and The Black Crowes , it's not gonna make you forget Black Country Communion or anything but I'm enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing them open for Kiss and the Crue in a few weeks.
Entre_Perpetuo Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 (edited) This would be a great place to post new artist/album recs! okay, for catchy, summery, new wavey alt rock, try this: http://www.weathersband.com/assets/img/cover.jpg EDIT: this is pretty poppy actually, but I still dig it Edited July 5, 2018 by Entre_Perpetuo
Segue Myles Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 EP, I recommend Leprous to you. They are not ground-breaking in any way but they are great and have those high pitched vocals you love. Smooth and so wonderfully melodic Scandinavian alt-rock with a progressive bent. They remind me pleasantly of Muse, but more introverted. 1

Since EP is a musician perhaps he can tell us what the hell the guy is doing exactly? I can't even picture in my head how he's pulling some of that off. He got a third hand or something? 1
