I don't think Vapor Trails is the best album, but it's definitely one of my favorites. The songs on Vapor Trails move me and inspire me. And the songs rock. Some of Geddy's coolest playing is on VT. I'm sorry if that's not the way I'm supposed to feel because the production is not good. Call me crazy, but I can relate to lyrics about real life problems and emotions like the ones on VT much more than I can relate to lyrics about necromancers and spaceships.
