This is the guitarist in my band, and his biggest influence by far is Omar. Listen at 5:54 to about 7:04 for a really awesome Omar-like guitar part. Also, if you want to listen to the whole thing and give me some feedback, be my guest. The drummer sucks, I know. We kicked him out last week.

 

And just so you know, I'm the bass player. There's a pretty cool Geddy inspired bass part at 5:33. Actually, all the bass is very Geddy-like.

Wallowing in self imposed, heartshattering dissapointment based on clips of an album you haven't heard is just utterly f***ing lame.

 

I'll check back well after the release of the album - this place is fast becoming yet another Rush buzzkill.
