I'm guessing that one of the people who created/produced the ad graduated from Syracuse in 1995. And no gate because, maybe, who in their right mind wants to go to Syracuse in 2011??

Was thinking the same thing. I wonder if it is the commercial producer's alma mater and grad year? 1995 didn't mean much in Syracuse.

I think the basketball reference is right for Syracuse. They were an unlikely dream team in 1995 and almost went all the way, but Kentucky beat them in a close game.

 

Seattle, depending on where you look, has about 118 rainy days each year.
