Our Buds and Coors and Millers shouldn't even have the word "beer" on their labels. For instance, it should say "Budweiser. The King of Urine" on the label. Anything different is false advertising. (I have to say though, Moosehead is one of the skunkiest beers ever made. It's right up there with Heineken. Yech.) Moosehead is sort of rice. Not to this guy though: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/11318455/ One American beer I don't mind is Rogue... oh and Sam Adams too. Rogue is a micro-brewery -- they don't mass produce their beer. It's brewed in small batches with quality ingredients. Rogue Dead Guy Ale is a world-class beer. And if all else fails, you can't go wrong with a Sam Adams. But I'll take a Molson Golden over a Bud, etc. any day. I hope Coors doesn't bring them down to their unbelievably crappy level after they merge. Until I got to appreciate stouts, I tried the Rogue Chocolate Stout - that shit really has chocolate in it! It's very good. This summer down in NH and Maine I went nuts on the Sam Adams wheat beer... whatever the name is. It's like Keith's... but better Tammeh is gonna kick my ass for that comment. Grandpa Grizz
The Rogue Brewery began in my town of Ashland, Oregon, but they were flooded in the New Year's Flood of '97, and moved to Portland. But we have a new microbrewery here now, named Caldera. And it's good.

Pun intended, hehe I prefer the Labatt's brewed Lucky Lager. Only available here on Vancouver Island. Hey, if it's good enough for the loggers it's good enough for me.
