So up next...

NYY/TB

BOS/BALT

PHI/ATL

STL/HOU

tomorrows games sort out a a lot.

Rays payroll for 2011: $41 million

Red Sox payroll for 2011: $160 million

Marco Scutaro makes more than the highest paid Ray (Johnny Damon).

Go Rays!

Unfortunately, many, many Brewer fans (and perhaps the players themselves) are putting a LOT of importance on getting the home field.

The Brewers were horrible on the road in the first half of the year, but did very well the second half. Many are worried that the Brewers CAN'T win on the road, but I don't think that way. They can win anywhere. The only problem is in their heads. yes.gif

I'll agree with that too..CONGRATULATIONS to the Rays they earned their way to these playoffs. That said I predict them to win it all, they are that good and can get this job done.

I'll agree with that also and I predict the RAYS to win it all. Say did the Gamecocks win the CWS BackkacB?

If so that's awesome!

You've gotta love Joe Madden...he's starting Matt Moore (1 career start) in Game 1.

Of course he fanned 11 in 5 shutout innings in that start. He gave up four hits and walked one.

This is the guy (Maddon) that sent a .108 hitter to the plate with 2 on 2 out down one run last night, and the hitter left the yard to tie the game...
