I loved the alliteration. And, . Interestingly, if you do a search of the phrase "aural abortion" on TRF, it appears 3 different times in our history by 3 different people, including me. And they all are describing the same album. So not only did you say it; you repeated a joke as well? There is no hope for you, man. Well, I did the search after I used the term. I've seen it online before. I don't think I made it up, or if I did, I made it up independent of other people. And I didn't think of it as a joke, I thought of it as descriptive. Fans take it all in and live by it. I love Roll THE Bones for the song "BRAVADO" my favorite but the whole album is a winner! I don't like Moving Pictures Next. Astromancer
I don't hate any of it. There are songs that don't usually catch me, some that I dislike elements of, but nothing that completely makes me puke. I love some of "Dog Year"'s lyrics, but mostly, it's meh (although, I think they were being goofy about that one). The music is good. But I'm usually not in the mood for it. I don't hate the song, though. Same with "Red Lenses". It does not catch me, but sometimes I find myself enjoying it. No hate, just preference of one piece over another. On TheRoad To Adventure
I have favourite Rush albums (most of them). Rush has such a wide range of styles, some albums have more appeal than others. They're all so good, that for most Rush fanatics like me, it's hard to choose my favourites. But there are definitely some albums and songs that don't appeal to me. Hate is a strong term, though, and I can't say I hate any of their music.
