Good, bad, andrush
So what are your top ten songs? Mine change but right now i've been in the mood for the ones in my signature. And there is something so surreal about these, especially The Cinema Show and Supper that I just get very lost in some other world. Of course the same happens when I listen to the entire lamb, I almost want to count that as one song... Well I'll list my top ten here for the record 1. The Cinema Show 2. Supper's Ready 3. Anyway 4. White Mountain 5. Time Table 6. Firth of Fifth 7. One for the Vine 8. Entangled 9. The Musical Box 10. Counting out Time
ghostworks
excellent list, if a little too Gabriel-centric for my taste from your list: The Cinema Show Supper's Ready The Musical Box ^ I love all three of those songs, but my attention strays occasionally during each one some of the musical ideas aren't well-formed (or interesting enough to hold constant attention), although I'll readily admit that there's a little burn-out from personally overplaying them as well Anyway One for the Vine ^ I dearly love both - Anyway is criminally overlooked IMO, and O4TV holds up (and in some cases, surpasses) many Gabriel-era epics my own personal list would look something like this: Evidence Of Autumn Image Blown Out Burning Rope Blood On The Rooftops Fountain Of Salmacis It's Gonna Get Better The Battle Of Epping Forest Keep It Dark Fly On A Windshield Get Em Out By Friday ^ similarly, mine are always changing as well... let's call it 'Today's List'
Tommy Sawyer
I don't have enough Genesis to make a relevant top 10 so here's my top 5 (in order) In the Cage The Battle of Epping Forest The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway Dancing With the Moonlit Knight The Knife

I listen to them daily and the magic has not even begun to wear off. Especially Supper and Cinema. I do very much agree however that some moments are too repetitive or not constructed very well, but I'm lost in the music by then, so it doesn't matter. Same thing with the lamb. Disc 2 suffers from many weak instrumental passages. But once you are captivated and are ready to devote time by Fly on a Windshield, the trip lasts until the very end of It. Xanadu93
I honestly can't recall that many Genesis songs by title off the top of my head, but I think my list would consist of songs from Trick and Duke, "I Know What I Like" (which IIRC was the first non-radio Genesis song I heard), and "The Knife".
