I honestly don't understand why he doesn't wear sleeveless all the time. Unless, of course, he prefers his arms somewhat covered. And for the life of me, I don't understand how Alex can wear what he does. He must be sweating bullets up there.

When I saw them in Cincinnati this year it had to of been 95 in the shade, and Alex came out in that jacket. I don't know how he could stand it. I just had on a T-shirt and jeans and I was about to melt, and he was under stage lights as well. He wiped his face off with a towel between every song and at one point leaned his head back and blew sweat off of his nose that went flying up in the air like rain.

That would be my guess as well. Plus he's put on some weight, he may be self conscious about that too. Or maybe he just likes to dress up. But I would think he could find a cooler alternative.

And Alex does seem to be a sweater, doesn't he? I don't notice Geddy being quite so moist at all, in comparison. Still, as long as the boys wear what's most comfortable for them, whether physically or mentally. Although I do have trouble believing Alex's coat is really all that comfy. He could wear a black dressy kind of shirt and still not appear that sweaty, if that's a concern. Ah well.

Hahaha that's what I thought but I couldn't see the post referring to Alex for some reason.

 

I love his (Alex's) chubby little belly. Bellies like that are good for snuggles, but I might feel that way because I've gotten a bit chunkier myself this past year.
